Senior Technical Project Managers (Contract and Permanent)
We have a current vacancies for senior technical project managers to support our client infrastructure and strategic projects. The candidate must have a technical knowledge of current and future Telecomms products and be able to articulate their relevance as part of our client deliverables.
Skills
A minimum of 5 years experience working on large technology and heterogeneous network infrastructure projects preferably gained within the financial business sector, while similar service provider project management experience would be a distinct advantage.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to establish programme office services, document and implement complex design projects that will integrate existing and future networks with clear understanding and cognisance of emerging technologies.
They will have a technical knowledge of Networking and Voice skills, knowledge should not be limited to Cisco only.
Proven ability to be able to work alongside Client project teams and technical staff with clear recognition of their objectives, including the development of project definitions and goals
Manage the business, technical and project risks associated with client projects and define scope, deliverables and cost estimation for the programme.
Manage ECSglobal resource requirements working closely with management to allocate staff and assign responsibilities
Maintain the project relationships between ECSglobal, partner(s) and client
Implement formal, and best practice, project quality management techniques to ensure that all project activities comply with all relevant standards expected by the client.
Direct weekly project team meetings and create project communication processes, status reports that describe project progress (including risks, schedule and budget status) to project stakeholders, client, and ECSglobal’s management
Qualifications
Prince 2 Practitioner, Six Sigma aligned with excellent project management, interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills and techniques.
Cisco qualifications to CCNP / DP, level would be advantageous as this will be a technical project management role.
